Dalia Colón comes to the Healthy State Collaborative after working as a reporter for the St. Petersburg Times’ free tabloid – the Tampa Bay Times (tbt) – for four years. She is known in the Tampa Bay area as one of the Deal Diva bloggers at blogs.tampabay.com/deals. Colón also does work for the Institute for Advanced Journalism Studies in North Carolina as a contributing writer, multimedia producer, and expert presenter on multimedia and social networking. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Magazine Journalism from Ohio University, Athens, Ohio and a Master’s degree in Spanish Education from Kent State University, Kent, Ohio.
