Lisette Garcia
Lisette Garcia, Community Events Specialist, has worked in business development, management and public relations for over 18 years with an emphasis on media and entertainment. She was co-founder of It’s About Time Events – Massachusetts’ first gay wedding planning business. She was also chief operations officer at Color Magazine based in Boston.
She has served on various fundraising committees including La Alianza Hispana – a multi-service agency helping the Latino community access education, information, health care and referrals in Boston. She also was on the Multicultural Audience Development Committee at the Boston Museum of Fine Arts, increasing the museum’s diversity membership and involvement. She has a love for the arts and has a passion for dance, in particular Flamenco.
